Riverside Park of Borgo Tossignano
A green space for everyone
The Riverside Park of Borgo Tossignano extends for a couple of kilometers along the right bank of Santerno River, along the stretch that flows next to town. A green area in which visitors can forget the town atmosphere for a couple of hours. It is equipped with pedestrian paths and cycle paths (lit in the evenings), a path with wooden exercise equipment, playgrounds for children, picnic areas and a food stand.
Where
The Riverside Park of Borgo Tossignano extends from Codrignano road to Rineggio bridge. It presents different entrances.
Reforestation
The area was the focus of a reforestation project in 2015; indigenous plants have been chosen to return the original vegetation to the river and to act as a natural control in the event of a flood.
