Moraduccio Waterfall is only a few kilometers away from Castel del Rio, in the small town of Moraduccio located on Montanara road, leading to Tuscany Region.

Beaches made of stones smoothe by the running waters and the scenic Moraduccio waterfall of Rio dei Briganti diving into Saterno, make this location a perfect spot for whoever is looking for some quiet and relax for a pic nic in the nature. And, why not, a dive in Santerno river is a lovely getaway from the summer heat.

For trekking lovers, crossing the bridge over the river and after an uphill hike of about one kilometer, it is possible to reach Castiglioncello, an evocative ghost town.

Attention: the road leading to the parking area closer to river is closed to traffic. IF suggests to proceed on foot down to the river side.
